I'm so happy that you did this, because not alot of guys in the business talk about that side of it. It's refreshing. & it's also refreshing to see someone in the business who isn't ashamed and is willing to be open about it. It's great that you have some kind of support system in your brother and sister. It's harder for a mother to hear, but she'll be fine. It's rare that a mother totally disowns her children (for whatever reason). Good luck with it!
Don't worry about it! I mean, she's your mom here, I really don't think there's anything you can say that would make her disown you. She probably won't be bragging about it to her friends, but hopefully she'll at least support you. Well, that and since the economy it totally going to shit, she'll be glad to know that you have a good job with great pay that you like and do well at. So just relax for now, what's the worst that could happen?

It's probably best that you tell your mother rather it accidentally come from someone else or someone telling your mother on purpose.
No one can know what your mother's reaction will be.
My Mother always said to me to not get into anything that you would be ashamed to tell your grandmother or grandchildren!
